Since I had 2 Lia Sophia parties in Salt Lake yesterday, Dave took the day off (to watch the kids) while I stayed in Salt Lake for the parties. He thought he would be nice and take the girls to 7-11 to get a treat. They got out of the wagon and Kate tripped over her own feet. Dave picked her up and walked around trying to comfort her, while Olivia followed. Dave didn't see her, and ended up tripping over her, which caused her to be pushed into a metal shelf. She was bleeding and screaming, so Dave loaded up the kids and went to Instacare.
A Dr. came out to see Olivia, and he said they needed to go to the ER to have her sedated while a plastic surgeon stitched it up. Dave took her to the ER
and waited for a long time to see the specialist. When they finally got taken back, the Dr. cleaned off her nose and told us it was just an abrasion with a bruise!
No stitches needed!!We we're lucky, but Livi still looks terrible! It's hard to see from the blurry pictures (because I couldn't get her to sit still to take them). The pink shirt was yesterday (when it happened). The purple shirt is from today. I think it looks worse today, but she's been a trooper and doesn't cry about it! Poor Livi!!

Ohhhhh, poor baby. That looks terrible. Good thing they come so tough. My kids are constantly bumped, bruised and cut.
what headache! or nose ache...
good thing she is cute!
oh my heavens! What a day for Dave. It is good to hear that she didn't need stitches but still how scary. Poor little thing.
What a crazy few minutes/hours for Dave. Even with the scrapped up noses the twins are adorable!
