My Boogelly-Bear turned 5 on the 17th of this month. I cannot believe it! She has grown into a sweet, tender-hearted, smart, but somewhat mischievous, girl.

We celebrated partly on Saturday with our kids and my parents. Ava wanted to eat somewhere that the staff would sing to her and where she could have fish (seriously, what 5 year old has those criteria), so naturally, we went to Red Lobster.

The food was good and she was very excited about her presents.

After lunch we went to Chuck E. Cheese's. All had a good time (especially my father who used the opportunity to take a nap).

Lisa made her an adorable cake (she requested a "Barbie cake with a white dress and pink flowers") -she loved it, and it tasted great too.

Happy B-Day sweetie! We love you very much!
